Agri-food<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the agri-food sector, we have been involved in a multitude of construction and renovation projects over the years.\nWe are able to carry out complex work without interrupting operations, or with minimal impact on them.\nWe’re also well aware of the health and hygiene standards specific to certain operations, such as cheese production or the meat industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are fully conversant with HACCP, CFIA and GFSI standards.\nWe support our agri-food customers across Canada, wherever they have production, processing or storage facilities in the meat, dairy, bakery, beverage and other sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work to plans and specifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When we’re invited to bid on this type of project, understanding everyone’s role and responsibilities in the project is key.\nWe make sure to validate these aspects and clarify the customer’s requests and each of the requirements from the outset. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We supervise the work and subcontractors to ensure that deliverables and materials comply with the plans and specifications submitted by the construction manager.\nWe ensure quality control of work completed, with a view to issuing the certificate of completion.\nConstruction Parox’s contribution as a contractor to this type of project is highly appreciated.\nWith its solid design-build expertise, it understands and shares the project overview with the manager.\nEven though this may go beyond its initial mandate, it proves to be an ally in helping the existing manager find ingenious solutions to the problems encountered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintenance and modernization work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Companies often call on Construction Parox to carry out maintenance or modernization work on buildings built or not by Parox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work can be of various kinds: leasehold or production space improvement, upgrading or fitting out, or urgent maintenance work when operations, building integrity or safety is threatened, corrective or preventive maintenance work, industrial retro-fit, plant refurbishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For these jobs, we visit the site, produce drawings and specifications where necessary, and carry out the work to the customer’s satisfaction, either on our own or with our subcontracting partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not unusual for a customer to invite us to carry out a design-build project for them, after seeing us at work for the first time on a project of this kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
