On March 21, 2015, the Fruit d’or processing plant in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes is ravaged by fire. The loss is total. Quickly the Parox team is chosen for the reconstruction in “fast track” mode. A new site offering the required services such as natural gas is chosen in Plessisville. Shadow on the board, the soil is liquefiable, so the Parox team proceeds to the dynamic compaction of the site. At the same time, the design of the new building took shape and work was able to begin in June 2015. The challenge was successfully met and the 75,000 sq. ft. building was delivered in December of the same year.
